My Idols (關公 and 岳飛)

I seldom have an idol in my mind, except 關公 before visiting 岳飛's grave.

Why I adore 關公? I can not specify the actual reasons, just a kind of feeling for respecting him. The only reason I can find is that I am fascinated with his personal loyalty. His story happened in Chinese 三國時代. He gave his loyalty to his sworn brother, 劉備 even his life. How great was he?

When I visited 岳飛's grave last week (080613), spending some time to read his life stories. I realized that he was an extraordinary person in 宋 dynasty. The more history I know, the more respects I have.

關公 and 岳飛 both have the same personality, the sense of justice which is almost disappeared now. Wish more and more rightful persons appear in the coming future.

My 2008 Family Vacation (China - Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou) (080611 - 080615)

It was an exciting vacation to go to China with two families. The members are included father-in-law, mother-in-law, cousin-in-law, aunt, mother, Kina, husband and me. We visited 留園、寒山寺、蘇州博物館 and 觀前街 in Suzhou City, 西湖、岳王廟、靈隱寺、飛來峰、河坊街 and 西湖夜秀 in Hangzhou City, 城隍廟、新天地、南京路步行區 and 船遊黃浦江 in Shanghai City and a traditional aqua-countryside called 烏鎮。

Do you know how beautiful and peace of 西湖? Do you know how how scenic in Suzhou? Can you image how fashion and advancement in Shanghai?
